KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 (Bernama) -- An unscheduled water supply disruption happened in Hulu Selangor Thursday as a result of diesel spillage at the intake point of the Sungai Selisek water treatment plant.Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas) said the 1pm incident affected water supply to about 2,500 consumers.The areas affected were Kampung Sungai Nilam, Kampung Paya Lebar, Kampung Lalang, Kampung Serigala, Rumah Murah Sungai Selisek, Kampung Sekolah, Kampung Bahom, Kuarters Klinik Sungai Selisek, Kuarters Guru Sungai Selisik, Kampung Masjid and Kampung Gesir Tengah, it said in a statement here.It added that the company had activated its emergency response plan to handle the situation and expected the problem to be resolved soon.More information can be obtained by calling Syabas customer service's toll free number at 1-800-88-5252.
